Communicare Lodge Ribbon Cutting

On March 31st, Communicare partnered with the Sterling Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce to host an open house and ribbon cutting to celebrate the renovation of our Utica location.

Our staff has been working hard to make this space exquisite. We’re proud of how far we’ve come in the last 10 years of residency in Utica.

Our Utica location has several unique amenities including a 3-D printer, laser engraver, kiln and wood shop. We accommodate our member’s skills and abilities for all day programing.

For the 2023 year, we have many exciting projects on the docket including chess boards, charcuterie boards and even guitar making!

The Communicare Lodge is also unique because it’s home to several of our members. We currently have five apartments built into our lodge- one of which is used as an emergency apartment for emergency admissions and situations. There are also two more handicap accessible apartments that are in the process of being constructed.

We have immediate availability for our residential program, day program, PT, OT, recreation therapy and mental health therapy. Tours are available and can be scheduled at any time.
