Meet Tammy! Tammy joined our work-hardening program here at CMI a few months ago. Since joining the program, she’s been working with our Occupational Therapist, Mishka Sajjadi, to curate brochures with information regarding TBIs.

Tammy wanted to make brochures to help educate her co-workers on different aspects of brain injuries. Tammy loves feeling like she’s helping and being useful.

Tammy is really enjoying her work program and explained that she feels a sense of community being around other individuals in similar situations. Tammy’s goal is to educate those around her on different issues that may arise due to having a traumatic brain injury.

Here at CMI, our main focus is the cognitive rehabilitation of individuals with TBIs through person-centered-care. Our work-hardening program is developed specific to each individual based on their unique interests.
