CMI congratulates our first ever double Employee of The Month, Brad Russell and Stephen Slaght!

Brad Russell and Stephen Slaght are both receiving this month's honor due to them both being so deserving for their ongoing hard work and dedication to CMI.

Brad began working at CMI in August of 2020. He has truly been an asset to all departments by directing marketing and community relations, overseeing maintenance operations, being a part of the admissions team and utilizing his real estate expertise when finding our members the perfect housing for their needs.  He is truly a Jack of all trades and is never afraid to get his hands dirty for the good of the company and/or our members.

Brad’s favorite thing about working at CMI is the fact that no matter what position, everyone's marching towards the same goal to take care of our members and to ensure the best care is provided.

His favorite memory is seeing our company gel together during our weekly meetings and the team bonding moments we had while preparing for CARF accreditation.

When Brad is not working, you can find him on the golf course, camping, boating with his family or enjoying a cigar around the campfire.

Stephen began working at CMI as a Cognitive Rehabilitation Specialist (CRS) in Septemberof 2019. Since then, he has been exceptional at providing high quality care for our members. Stephen is also great with using SODA’s and de-escalating techniques when needed. SODAS stands for Situation, Options, Disadvantages, Advantages, Solutions. This is a specific method which provides structure when solving problems with members. Stephen is a true team player while always looking out for the good of our clients.  His dedication is truly admirable and he’s always there when we need a little comic relief.

Stephen’s favorite thing about working at CMI is getting to work directly with our clients on a daily basis.

When asked what his favorite memory at CMI was, Stephen replied, “Everyday I’m making new memories that will last a lifetime.”

When Stephen is not working, you can find him golfing with his fellow CMI staff members and friends on the weekends.

Thanks again Brad and Stephen for exemplifying what it means to be a part of Team CMI. Your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed.
